What exactly is the First Home Program?
The First Home Program is a unique homeownership initiative aimed at helping first-time home buyers fast-track their journey to owning a home. We understand that buying your first home is a significant milestone, but it can also be a complex, stressful process. Our program simplifies this process by providing a complete end-to-end service. From arranging finance to choosing the perfect location and design, to building your new home. The goal is to deliver a quality, modern home in an average of just 9 months, removing the hassle and stress typically associated with the home ownership process.
Who is eligible for the First Home Owner’s Grant?
In order to be eligible for the FHOG ($10,000), you must be at least 18, an Australian citizen or permanent resident, and:
- haven’t received it previously
- haven’t owned a residential property anywhere in Australia before 1 July 2000
-haven’t owned residential property anywhere in Australia on or after 1 July 2000 and occupied that property as a place of residence before 1 July 2004
- haven’t owned residential property anywhere in Australia on or after 1 July 2000 and occupied that property as a place of residence for - a continuous period of at least six months that began on or after 1 July 2004
Do I need to apply for the First Home Owner Grant?
